Romans 13:1 “Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God.”

God’s power is not limited nor is it bound. His divine authority and power reigns over all the earth and heavens for it has no restrictions! Colossians 1:16 tells us “For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him.” Our Father’s authority is mighty from the majestic mountains to the deepest of oceans. Psalm 24:1 tells us “The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it.” 

We’re able to trust His authority because when we submit to God’s authority, we find freedom, peace, redemption, and so much more.  As we embrace His authority in our daily lives, our faith continually grows stronger through His word and prayer. Through Jesus Christ, (our cornerstone) we see the ultimate power of God’s authority over sin and death. When we have spiritually felt His anointing power and authority move within us, may we grasp the magnitude of this gift.  2 Peter 1:3 says; “According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:” Let us embrace such power and strength that God has bestowed upon us with gratitude, and thankfulness Thank You, God!
