Psalm 84:3 “Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young—a place near your altar, Lord Almighty, my King and my God.”
Nature itself is filled daily with reminders to take time to worship the Lord right where we’re at! On this very brisk chilly morning, I rose early to the sound of many birds. Not a few birds but “many” birds of all species, colors and sizes. I stood on the front porch just listening to them. The beautiful sound of all the birds singing was majestic. As, I looked around me, the trees were loaded with birds. They were flying around chirping and singing with such delight. Like a heavenly choir here on earth singing unto our Abba Father. Job 12:7 says; “But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee:” As I looked upon the birds I thought of God’s unending provisions. A bird’s natural instinct leads them to seek what they need which God faithfully supplies. Matthew 6:26 says; “Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?” Just as the Lord takes care of the birds, we know how valuable we are to God that He does the same for us. We can depend on God through every season of our lives, Thank You, Lord! The beauty of nature is a reflection of God’s love and amazing details to everything He has created, and that includes us! The melodies the birds sing are a beautiful reminder of God’s unfailing love and faithfulness, Thank You, Father God! We can often overlook the beauty of nature, which is God’s creation. Nature is one way God speaks to us. The chirping of the birds make for a beautiful backdrop while resting in God’s presence. It brings such peace and joy that’s only found in God’s presence. Psalm 104:12 says; “The birds of the sky nest by the waters; they sing among the branches” Be like the birds nesting by the waters, through the “living waters”(John 7:37-39) that flow through you, sing out your praises unto our Lord God!
