Faithful in Our Assignments
Ephesians 2:10 “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do”
Stopping to pick up a piece of paper on the ground and throwing it away seems like a small task, right? But, many will walk right on by it. They won’t stop and pick it to throw it away. We must ask ourselves, are we being faithful in attending to the spiritual tasks asked of us for God’s kingdom? Are we just walking on by what God has prepared for us to do? Our assignments from God aren’t random. He has divinely planned and assigned a purpose individually for each of us. Do we truly grasp and understand that from the smallest purpose to the largest, they’re both equally valuable in God’s eyes? In faith, He has entrusted us to fulfil his divine purpose given unto each of us. Whether they be great or small, they have a divine purpose for the Kingdom of God. 1 Corinthians 7:17
reminds us; “But as God hath distributed to every man, as the Lord hath called every one, so let him walk. And so ordain I in all churches.” Philippians 2:13 says; “For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.” Our Abba Father not only instills the desire to perform our assigned purposes but, He also provides the strength and ability we need to fulfill them according to His will.
