Romans 12:1 “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.”
Within God’s temple (our bodies) is an alter made to honor and glorify Him. It’s there at this alter, we seek God’s face, His will, His divine favor. It’s our very own personal, and intimate place for prayer, praise, worship. It’s a quiet place God created for just you and Him. It’s where we freely show adoration to and for our Abba Father. It’s where we exalt and glorify God who is holy, righteous, and true! Hallelujah! A sacred place to gather with God, who created us from dust and breathed His breath of life into us! Hallelujah! A divine and spiritual place in which we can encounter God’s holy presence when in the heat of spiritual warfare! It’s at this alter within us, we encounter the “mercy seat of God”, Hallelujah! Psalm141:2 reminds us; “Let my prayer be set forth before thee as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.” How absolutely wonderful is it, that our Abba Father created and prepared a place “within us” so sacred! A place within His temple, which is our bodies! There is an alter within you. Don’t let the fire that was lit aflame within the deepest part of your soul go out! Keep that fire burning! Feed that sacred fire with God’s word and consistent prayers. Keep God first in your life always, so that the Holy Spirit fire within our soul burns day and night.
